I cannot help but be astounded by that piece of art.
The sheer awe from the feeling of immensity that thing gives me, makes my hair stand! Its size further boosted by the not-so-focused background and the miniature human figures. Along with the minimalistic style of the mountains and the balloons and aircrafts in the air, in terms of technique, is just brilliant.
Furthermore, I like how I can focus on the scarab's details, like the lighting and the various joints, pipes, cables and whatnot on its body.
I'd like the sand effect on the foreground to have a little less opacity, but that's just me being a perfectionist..
